Roasting

As a light roast, Lazy Sunday is a light roast that is easy on the palate and softens into a warm embrace for your senses. The cocoa from Latin America is used to smooth out the brew while Africa provides citrus notes to balance. The result is a drink that is delicious by itself, or paired with milk chocolate or cake. It can also be paired with lemon drizzle cakes or vanilla sponges very well.

We recommend the French Press method to brew this coffee. Heating your vessel by adding some water that has just boiled will keep it warm. After brewing, let the coffee sit for 4 minutes. This ensures that all the grounds are filled with water and are not being over-extracted. The water is then moved through the grounds using the plunger, do not stir or agitate the coffee, as this could result in unpleasant components in your cup.

Strength - 3, soft and easy to follow, perfect for relaxing at the weekend.

Stores

Lazy Sunday is a smoky light roast with an uplifting cocoa and citrus aroma. It has a smooth mouth feel that caresses the palette. The hints of cocoa can be traced back to a winters day spent on the sofa with a good book and a hug from the family. Make sure to heat your French Press by using water that has not yet reached boiling point. This will prevent the coffee from becoming over extracted and causing undesirable elements in the drink. Add your grounds and 250ml of water that is off the boil. For four minutes, simmer, take a plunge, and then enjoy.
