VIN numbers are used to identify vehicles and provide an abundance of information about them. VIN numbers are unique to every vehicle on the planet with the exception of alien cars (or whatever). The 17 numbers of the VIN code are a combination of numbers and letters that can be decoded in order to reveal vital information about your vehicle or truck.
