Albums

Before the formation of Toto, band members did session work for other musicians. Shem von Schröck replaced Leland Sklar as drummer during the tour for the 40 Trips Around the Sun album. In 2017, Toto released a double-CD live set called Falling in Between, which included recordings from the tour as well as an interview with Toto.

Toto has released a variety of music videos. The group has released a number of compilation videos and DVDs. The band's most popular video is "Africa", with over one billion views. The video is set in a library, where the band performs on top of a stack of African books.

The track "Africa" is from the album Toto IV. It was written by the band members and produced by David Paich. It was a huge hit in Europe and other countries. The success of the single helped Toto to regain their popularity, after their previous album Turn Back failed to chart in America.

In 1998, Toto began working on a special project called Old Is New. This album included three new tracks as well as several finished recordings of older songs. The album became a huge hit and the band went on tours to promote it.

Toto is famous for their hit song "Africa", recently reunited to promote their new album, All In. The album came out on November 6, 2018 and included three brand new tracks from the upcoming 40 Trips Around the Sun, and also recorded versions of four older tracks featuring Jeff Porcaro on drums and either Mike or Steve Porcaro on bass. The album also included a cover of Weezer's song "Hash Pipe" which the band opted to include after hearing a version on the radio.
