10 Tips For Getting The Most Value From Bentley Key Fob Programming
Bentley Mulsanne Key Celebrates Its Centenary

Bentley's bespoke coachbuilding division, Mulliner, has designed a unique key case to mark the centennial of the company. Made from Dark Stained Burr Walnut and Piano Black veneer, it includes a flying "B" paperweight, a set keys and a brochure featuring never-before-seen 1930 8 Litre imagery.

It is the perfect gift to welcome a new owner into their lavish vehicle.

Aesthetics

As a design-oriented company Bentley takes its aesthetics extremely seriously. This is evident in the precise placement of its quilting and the use of leather made from by-products of cattle, the wood from sustainably-managed forests, as well as the unique patterns of its levers. As you approach a car like the Continental GT W12, its exquisite design is revealed through carefully curated lighting.

The Continental GT is the most sophisticated open-top Bentley ever designed. The rear tonneau, for instance, featured the largest piece of book-matched, dark-stained Burr Walnut veneer ever applied to the production Bentley. Similarly, the electrically-operated glass sunroof and champagne cooler that incorporated hand-blown and hand-cut lead crystal bottles marked a new benchmark in luxury and innovation.

Bentley is the most sought-after brand in the automotive industry in the world due to its bespoke design and craftsmanship. The company continues to push boundaries with the latest technology and workmanship, such as the introduction of a digital instrument cluster, an electric tilt-opening rear glass sunroof, a custom-designed docking station for Apple iPads and electrochromic smart glass that can be switched between opaque and transparent by the button.

Bentley celebrated its 100th anniversary in 2019 100 years after it was established. The marque, currently owned by Volkswagen independently following years of dispute with BMW and BMW, had planned a series of special launches and events to mark the occasion. Before the pandemic planning took place, the marque was hosting a variety of special events and launches planned to commemorate this milestone event.

Design

Bentley is known as a luxury car maker that produces lavish and extravagant cars. However, even the keys make a statement. The Bentayga Key is constructed of sterling silver and features an enormous B' logo to show everyone that you're a Bentley. The key is also inscribed with the dates 1919 and 2019 to mark the company’s centenary.

The Mulsanne was redesigned and improved by Bentley Mulliner to be the ultimate Grand Touring car. It comes with two pairs of rear seats that were inspired by luxury private aviation and provides passengers with unbeatable comfort and security. The unique heating and ventilation as well as air conditioning system was developed to give every passenger the perfect temperature control.

The Mulsanne comes with a twin turbocharged 6.75 litre W12 engine with 560bhp as well as 479lb-ft torque. This incredibly powerful power is paired with a new suspension system that gives Bentley's famously smooth ride.

Bentley has introduced a special specification for cars built after the year 2019 to commemorate its centenary. This is called the Centenary Specification. This includes contrast stitching and cross-stitching in Centenary Gold thread throughout the cabin. The Bentley Wings are embroidered with Centenary Gold on the headrests, seats and other areas of the car. This is a great way to celebrate the occasion. The Centenary Specification also includes a personalized Bentley keycase, adding to the Bentley experience.

Function

The Bentley Mulsanne Key has two buttons that open the trunk, and the second that is used to start the vehicle. It also has a button to activate the parking break. The knob can be used to fold or unfold the mirrors when parking in a tight space. Using this feature can help you get into and out of your car more easily.

Each key takes two days to create. It is hand cut to shape, sewn sealed and polished to provide the highest-quality finish. It is sturdy small and compact, and it fits the Bentley key perfectly. Its style is similar to the Volkswagen Phaeton large car's key however, it feels heavier and has a more luxurious feel.

Secure-A-Key is also available to protect against keyless entry theft. The Key Lab is placed inside the remote-control fob and is disabled if the key is not used for a few minutes. It prevents thieves from transmitting the key's frequency to other devices that can be used to open and start the vehicle.

Bentley's distinctive design reflects company's values of fine craftsmanship and engineering expertise. It also includes modern technology. The headquarters in Crewe is home to more than four hundred employees who are responsible for the development, design and production of Bentley vehicles. These workers use skills handed down for generations and apply them to cutting-edge automotive technology. This is British manufacturing at its best.

Personalisation

Bentley's Mulliner division allows customers to design their own car. Guests sit at a series of pictures referred to as "mood stations" and select a series of photos ranging from scenic views to sporting events that inspire them to design their own. Every time a choice is made the pattern that emerges reveals the model, color and style preferences for the personalized Bentley.

The guests receive keys made by hand and containing the R.F.I.D. enabled key cards. The keys are also equipped with Bentley Muliner Personalised Welcome Lamps, which illuminate the door-opening pathway with the owner's name or logo as they are approaching the vehicle.

Bentley says it takes roughly 500 man-hours in order to create and put together the typical Mulsanne. The reluctance to embrace new technology is the key to this time-consuming effort. Instead of using a machine to space the perfectly-matched leather seats, workers at the Crewe factory do it by hand. And rather than letting the car's built in sensors guide it to parallel and perpendicular parking spaces drivers must do it manually.

Bentley displayed its Mulliner personalization capabilities with the release of a special Mulsanne W.O. Edition, that pays homage to the William Osler, the founder of Bentley. Edition, which pays tribute to the founder William Osler Bentley. The 100 limited-edition cars include the key with a special design that shows a small portion of the 1930 8 Litre's crankshaft.
