Why We Are In Love With Petron Key To Lamborghini (And You Should, Too!)
Lamborghini Enters the World of Non-Fungible Tokens (NFTs)

After a string of social media posts hinting at it, Italian supercar-maker Lamborghini has finally announced its first NFT (non-fungible token) project. Space Key was developed by a non-publicized artist and based upon advanced carbon fiber composite materials that were shipped to the International Space Station as research material, is a new project that has been announced by Lamborghini.

Developed in collaboration NFT PRO(tm).

Lamborghini, the Italian supercar manufacturer is making its first step into non-fungible tokens (NFTs). The new project, called the Space Key, is a work of art created in collaboration with an unknown artist. The NFT is an exclusive piece of digital art that can be obtained by scanning the use of a QR code. The project is limited to five pieces and will be auctioned in the coming weeks.

The Space Key is made of carbon composite material that Lamborghini, in the course of a research project in 2019 sent to the International Space Station. When it returned to earth the carbon fiber was transformed into this unique art. The physical piece is embossed with an NFT serial number that ties to the corresponding digital artwork using a QR code that is located on the back.

NFTs for those who are not familiar, are unique identifiers that are stored on a distributed ledger of the blockchain and connected to a digital asset such as a photograph or video, song, or other record. This allows owners to guarantee authenticity and traceability of their tokens over the internet.

lamborghini diablo key is taking this unique approach to art by collaborating with NFT PRO, an all-white label NFT solution for business. In the coming weeks the company will be sharing details about this exciting project including the name of the unknown artist and a timeline for the auction.

The physical component of Space Key

After multiple social media posts, each one revealing some kind of space-themed item, the Italian supercar maker Lamborghini has entered the world of non-fungible (NFT) tokens with an exclusive initiative dubbed Space Key. The NFT was developed in collaboration with an unknown artist and will be auctioned within a couple of weeks. It is a piece of high-tech carbon fiber composite material, which was sent to the International Space Station (ISS) in 2019 as part an ongoing research project. Carbon fiber was 3D printed for the base of every Space Key. Each Space Key is linked to an exclusive, digital artwork using QR codes. Only five Space Keys were produced.

NFTs are unique identifiers that can be stored on distributed ledgers like the Blockchain and tied to digital assets such as images. They're popular among those with more money than sense and it was only a matter of time until an automaker decided to capitalize on the trend.

Space Key consists of five units. The components were built using a physical piece of the carbon fiber composite, which was sent to the ISS in 2019. Each NFT will have an QR code that will link it to a unique digital art piece by the same artist. In the coming weeks and days, more details will be revealed including the name and digital artwork of the artist and how to purchase one of the five Space Keys.

The digital artwork

After weeks of posts on social media hints at it, a prestigious car manufacturer Lamborghini has finally revealed its first non-fungible token (NFT) project. Called the Space Key, it consists of five physical items that unlock a unique digital artwork NFT by a yet-to-be-identified artist. It was created in collaboration with NFT PRO(tm) the "collector's item" is limited to only five units and will be auctioned off in the near future.

At the heart of each Space Key is a block made of a high-tech carbon fire composite material, which was sent to the International Space Station in 2019 as part of a research program. After returning to Earth, the block was inscribed with a QR codes that connect to the digital component in the Space Key.

Each of the five Space Keys will feature a distinct moment that happens seconds apart as the Lamborghini Ultimae lifts off toward the stars. Over 600 million pixels make up each of the five images, which were taken by photographer Fabian Oefner.

Oefner used a balloon with a camera, which took each of the individual shots, which were later merged into the final image. The result is an out of this world photo that captures the beauty of the Earth and the futuristic, hyper-realistic image of the car rising from it. The Space Keys are going to be auctioned off soon, but there is no specific date or time yet.

The auction

Lamborghini, the luxury automaker, has entered the world non-fungible tokens (NFTs) with the slogan "to the moon". The project was developed in collaboration with NFTPRO(tm). The Space Key is essentially an NFT that has carbon fiber composite material, which traveled to the International Space Station in 2019 for research purposes. The physical sample was shaped into five unique pieces that link to exclusive digital art work created by an artist that has not yet been revealed through the QR code.

The auctions will take place from February 1 until February 4. They will last 75 hours and 50 mins - the time it took Apollo 11 for him to leave Earth and enter Lunar orbit. The five NFTs are available for bidding by making an online registration. Each one will be auctioned by itself and the winner will be awarded a digital image designed by renowned photographer Fabian Oefner, which captures the five different moments that the Space Key passed during its flight through space.

Over the next few weeks, we'll reveal all the details about the Space Key as well as the digital artworks that go with it. This includes the identity of the unidentified creator and how to purchase these amazing creations. Keep an eye on Lamborghini's Instagram for all the info you need!
