9 Signs That You're The Best Double Buggy Expert
The Best Double Buggy Strollers
A double buggy is ideal for twins who are due, or if you have two children of different age groups. The best ones are easy to maneuver and handle rough surfaces and kerbs.
They also have features such as large sun canopies with hoods that can be seen through and seats that can be adjusted.
1. Baby Jogger City Tour 2 Double
The City Tour 2 Double is the smallest double stroller in the Baby Jogger range. It's made for travel and easily fits through most doors with its narrow design, it's also one of the lightest double buggies on the market, weighing just 14lbs when folded. It's perfect for traveling with a toddler and infant because you won't be able to exceed the allowances for luggage on airlines. It can also be folded to the size of the size of a small travel bag which means you can put it in the back seat of your car.
The one-handed Z-shape fold is a breeze and it's extremely compact once you master it. It can take a couple of only a few seconds to unfold. Our tester found the auto-lock somewhat difficult to understand, and also because the handlebar doesn't lock in place when you push it to the side, it struck her leg when she used it. She also felt that the handlebar was a bit on the short side and especially with the large changing bag hanging from it.
This double stroller is not as light as other buggies. It's got a broad range of features, and is one the most versatile double strollers on the market. It's compatible with two carry cots (available separately) and has multiple recline positions and a UV 50+ canopy. You can also add a bassinet on either or both seats to make it an all-in-one travel system.
The four rubber composite tires are ideal for pavements and urban terrain. However, they are not made for off-roading. They struggled with gravel and long grass and there was not enough clearance between the wheel bracket and wheel and mud sank easily. However our tester was still enthralled the buggy and did climb some beautiful dirt hills.
iCandy Orange
The iCandy Orange is a premium double buggy that is the best in style and versatility. It is an essential item for parents who demand cutting edge design and quality. It is also stylish and lasts. The Orange features a sleek lightweight, sleek frame with an enormous basket that is able to accommodate 2 car seats. It features an elegant, adjustable canopy that is both water-resistant and ventilated. It is available in trendy colors like Pistachio on the Jet Black Frame, Fossil on a Jet Black Frame, and Rose. There's also the possibility of a built-in ride on the board for older siblings to take part in the fun.
This 2021 update has a few changes that improve manoeuvrability as well as an even better, larger shopping basket with a re-designed bumper bar and leatherette cover. The seats are molded and are very comfortable. The seats are also adjustable and can be placed according to the needs of siblings. iCandy is the first to introduce a 'cinema seating' design that allows parents to maintain eye contact with their children. They can also be repositioned to face either the parent or the world facing.
It's a heavier buggie in tandem, but it's easy to use and drive especially on smooth pavements. It is stable in both double and single modes and even on sloped ground. It's not as easy to drive on public transport, however, because it requires more than one hand to grip the handlebar. It's also heavy and won't fit in a standard car boot with the seat attached, but this can be overcome with careful planning. iCandy have included a footmuff, changing bag and car seat adapters in the price, making this an excellent value bundle for parents who are new.

This buggy is also ideal for families who plan to travel, as it can accommodate a car seat in the back. It has a secure one-click fold and works with a range of Joie infant car seats. It has a large basket, and comfortable seats for children. The only downside is that the front seat isn't able to recline completely, which could be a concern for small babies. It's a great choice to consider if you're looking for a lightweight and affordable stroller.
4. Cybex Gazelle S

The Gazelle's seat can recline into an upright position. It also has a large UV 50+ sun shade that is vital for your children.
This is the futuristic, multi-purpose stroller that can adapt to your family's needs. It is suitable from the time of birth as a mono-pushchair. It can be used after four years, it can be a double pushchair with the addition of a CLOUD Z iSize car seat or a second seat unit or Gazelle Cot. The new one-pull safety harness makes it easy to secure your child, even if you're carrying your baby on your back.
The Gazelle S is different from other double strollers as it folds down compactly with both seats tucked away. This makes it easy to store at home or even in your trunk. A large lower basket can hold up to 25 lbs. of shopping, everyday necessities or food items. A detachable shopper's bag gives you additional space. This stroller is extremely versatile and child-friendly due to its harness that is one-pull and large recline. It also has puncture-proof tires so you do not have to worry about flat tires on your travels.
5. Nipper Double V5
The Nipper Double V5 from Out 'n' About is a refreshed version of the award-winning all-terrain buggie. It was designed for twins or siblings and has separate reclining seats, compatibility with carrycots, as well as lightweight frame that allows that allows for easy maneuverability on bumpy terrain.
The adjustable handle's height and rear wheel suspension offer an enjoyable ride for children up to 22kg. The durable pneumatic tyres, which are easy to clean, also offer a smooth ride when jogging. The 360 swivel front wheel can be locked for easier manoeuvring around the city, and the single pedal brake is easy to use.
Our testers found the Nipper Double was incredibly easy to maneuver, even moving on uneven ground or when turning quickly in an area with a lot of traffic. The fact that the seats can be reclined independently was also a big hit.
They also appreciated the fact that the hoods could be moved back and forward making them easy to adjust to the sun or for wind protection. They didn't offer the same amount of coverage as the Baby Jogger City Mini Hoods. It might be worth having an additional rain cover in the case.
Overall, our test participants were impressed with the Nipper double's capacity to let them take their twin daughters Sydney and Lyla to all kinds of adventures. From exploring the forest for wildlife or rushing to a park to play with their friends They loved it. The testers were also impressed with how spacious and comfortable the two seats are. There is plenty of room for toddlers who are growing. The lack of parent-facing seating and the inability to use a car seat in this buggy were cited as a drawback by our testers. They would also have preferred a larger storage space for shopping and other gear.
